I love mysteries, fantasy, sci fi, nonfiction (especially related to the environment, gardening, myth/folklore and human-animal interactions). Yes, I read kids' books (aka juvenile lit) and am proud of it--some of the best writers around write kids' books. It's harder to write well for a younger audience than for adults. Favorite TV Shows, Actors: I'm not a tv addict, but currently my family and I love to watch MythBusters, Man Vs. Wild, Doctor Who, Countdown, and the Rachel Maddow Show. The Discovery channel, TLC, History channel, and Food Network are old standbys in our house.
